They offer three daily sailing trips, morning, afternoon, and an evening sunset cruise. Sunshine Charters loves the water and they want to make sure they get as many people as they can out there to experience the amazing sights and thrills of sailing. Their sailing season typically begins in early June and lasts through Labor Day. All three tours usually visit both, Lake Charlevoix and Lake Michigan. They provide free pop and a good time, however, you’re welcome to bring any food or additional beverages on board.

Went on a 3pm Monday cruise and loved it. Plenty of room on the boat and the crew was awesome, loved just cruising around and chatting with them. Would definitely go again with a group

We enjoyed our time out with Sunshine Charters. It was a great way to end a beautiful summer day. The team offered refreshments and extra cushions for comfort and flexibility in seating. I would recommend!

Great experience. It was very relaxing and enjoyable. The captain and his 1st mate made us all feel very well cared for. We did the sunset cruise but we can’t wait to go back and do one in the afternoon.

As someone who is usually afraid of boats, I couldn’t believe how awesome this sunset cruise was! The size of the boat made me nervous at first but it was comfortable and I felt very safe the entire trip. We had a fantastic time with Josh and Chase, and the views from the water were beautiful. This is a must-do when you’re visiting Charlevoix!

If you didn't take a cruise on Sunshine Charters did you really visit Charelvoix? I've done their sunset charter a couple times and each experience feels new and fresh. The captain and crew are friendly and will answer any questions. Super helpful! Beautiful views and tour of Round Lake, Lake Charlevoix, Pine River Channel, and Lake Michigan. Don't hesitate to set sail on the best tour in town!
