What a wonderful Harvest Host stop on our way to the Great Lakes! Beer and Sangria were the best! Owners were very nice. A little road noise but not to bad. Safe and beautiful place to stay!

Unfortunately I've never experienced this restaurant and I highly doubt that I will due to a unresolved race issue. It's Unfortunate that an establishment like this would allow their employees to speak freely in a derogatory manner about black people and do nothing. My friend visited this establishment and I am disappointed that this behavior goes unpunished and almost defended. Here is my friends experience and the responses she received: Her review: We were appalled by the bartender Corinne this past weekend who said she was from Ypsilanti like we are from both Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti and we were having a wonderful conversation. Then she said she would never move back to Ypsilanti because there were too many ‘black people’ It is 2024, if you are racist, please get educated. Black people are the literal backbone of our country and your prejudice is not welcome. Also you do not know the customers who you were serving, how do you know my ancestry? And you also work in the mortgage industry, are you discriminatory there as well? Establishments response: This was the response: Thank you for taking the time to let us know this. I sincerely apologize for not responding back right away- I have a full time job outside of running our business and a 6 year old so I’m not always able to respond for a day or so and I do again apologize for that. I do wish you would have come to us first before posting negative reviews of our whole business based on one employee. We will be talking with her at her next shift and asking for an explanation. She has worked with us for years without any previous issues and we hope it was a misunderstanding. Rest assured, we do not accept this kind of behavior and it will be addressed right away. Thanks again for bringing it to our attention. My friends response: It was not a misunderstanding. She said I don’t want to be prejudice but- insert racist phrase . The fact she felt so comfortable talking about that is appalling. Their response: I apologize if you took that to mean that I did not believe you. That is not the case at all. We have never had an issue like this from any employee before so please excuse me if you took it that way. We do believe in giving our employees the opportunity to explain themselves if a complaint is brought to our attention and this will be handled accordingly. We, our business, do not accept discrimination in any form and I apologize you felt uncomfortable. Me: If someone ever said anything disrespectful or derogatory in my business and a customer complained, there is no need to explain. What could she possibly say? I'm not racist but I just don't like being around black people and I'm ok telling others about my biases? Owners do better. FYI - I will be posting on my social media. I hope you take this serious because I am.

Stopping in as a last ditch effort to grab a lil something for the wife and myself on a trip to the cabin at Pictured Rock.... what a great choice. I stated what I was looking for and the wonderful host/tender pulled a bottle out. Not trusting her expertise we decided to test a few beforehand. What we settled on is what was pulled to begin with😂. Everyone was in good spirits and welcoming. Check it out.. they have good stuff! We will be stopping on the way back south.

First off friendly and knowledgable staff! This is a small winery/ brewery with a little bit of everything! We enjoyed wines, cider, and beer here and all was very unique, great , and different! They normally have food, but covid has put a minor halt on that. They do have live music on Thursdays throughout the summer! Nice pretty place!

This was our first stop ,we stayed at Burt Lake campground winding down from our 2 week anniversary vacay from our UP trip. We love this small ,intimate personal winery/brewery! I had their cider and Indian Summer Sangria ,omg such a lite summer wine just wonderful! Hubby tried all 3 craft brews on tap he is a craft beer connoisseur, he summed it up “top notch! “ He prefers hoppy, but their non traditional IPA ,very nice malty ,excellent a must try ! Rob was very informative and we had a good time talking craft beer , wine and cider with him!If you miss out on stopping by this lil gem you’ll be missing out!
