Located in the heart of downtown Charlevoix and on the shores of Round Lake, you couldn't ask for a better view. And if you're in the mood for a brewery crawl, Lake Charlevoix Brewing Company is right downstairs. Definitely within crawling distance. Boasting a significant beer list, Bridge Street Tap Room has over 25 Michigan beers on draft, so it's a great place to help you figure out which brewery you want to visit next.
For lunch, start with the Ale Cheese Soup, a great pick me up on a cool Spring day. It's thick and cheesy and everything an ale soup should be, plus it comes with some pretty stellar garlic croutons. Then, try the Cherry Chicken Salad Wrap—it's made with Traverse City's Cherry Republic's dried cherries (which you can buy just down the street, and totally should). The savory spinach wrap is a great combination with the sweet cherries, and the salad isn't smothered in mayo, as is often the case, which truly allows the complex flavors to shine.
