Walloon Lake Winery is a family run boutique winery and tasting room and is one of Emmet County’s newest wineries. Their 36 acre, third generation farm is located, just outside Petoskey Michigan and just one mile from beautiful Walloon Lake. They are a modern winery focused on creating the very best wines made from the seven cold hardy grape varieties grown on the property. Their unique stacked cord wood tasting room overlooks rolling vistas and cold hardy vineyards.

Walloon is a small winery with fantastic views. The tasting room has a warm authentic feel. Wine was OK. It is worth a stop on a winery tour.

Awesome wine complex flavors but not too bold! Great to see a local winery not over sweeten their wines and allow the quality of the local grapes shine! Friendly service and nice environment! Did not plan on it but had to buy a few bottles :)

I always love visiting this winery! All of their wines are fabulous, but I am especially excited about the Sunshine Daydream—it has such a unique and fun flavor!

I can’t say enough about Walloon Lake Winery! They have the best Michigan wine, and the tasting experience is second to none. The ambiance is cozy yet elegant, with beautiful views that make every sip even more enjoyable. Bernadette, the tasting room manager, is fantastic! She’s warm, knowledgeable, and truly passionate about the wines here, which makes the experience all the more special. If you’re looking for the best wine and service in Northern Michigan, Walloon Lake Winery is the place to be!
