At That French Place, they serve their crêpes as you would buy at a crêpe stand in the streets of Paris.  Though you are more than welcome to sit and enjoy your crêpe on-site, the crêpe cones in which they serve them are designed to allow you to stroll through town, to the park or the beach while savoring this authentic French fare.

I was so excited to stop for a savory crepe for breakfast. We usually love them, but these were not your usual crepes. They use buckwheat, and we both thought they were not very good. My other half still ate his, but I chose to toss mine. We also got a quiche, which was kind of the consistency of cheesecake. It had great flavor, but we couldn't get over the supper soft texture. Still admittedly polished it off. The third item we tried was a bacon and egg pastry. That was definitely our favorite, and it took us no time to gobble it down.

They have both sweet and savory crêpes. Stick with the sweet! I absolutely LOVED the ‘sweet’ banana and Nutella crêpe! I’d give it 5 stars, but the ‘savory’ crepe that I ate first was not good. It was supposed to have caramelized onions, spinach, mushrooms and Swiss cheese, but all I could taste and feel as I bit down was a lot of spinach. I told the cashier (when I went back in to get a sweet crêpe) that it was like biting into turf. It really was. She said to ask for less spinach next time. How was I to know it would have a dense stack of spinach? I couldn’t even finish it. She listened to my feedback and was friendly, but she didn’t offer to do anything to make it right. I still ordered a sweet crêpe because I heard how good those were and I still wanted to try one. It would’ve been good Customer Service to do something to make it right, (I.e. apologize and refund the money for the savory crêpe or comp the sweet one) but she didn’t. EDIT: I appreciate the owner’s comment and offer to make it right. If I can get back there before I leave the area I will. 2ND EDIT: I went back in and the owner was totally different than his response on here. He said I shouldn’t “expect a refund just because I ordered something I didn’t like” and chastised me for posting my review. (I did try to address it with the cashier when I went back in, and I still ordered a sweet crêpe even though she did nothing to address it). My review was very positive about the sweet crêpe and honest about the savory one so others may want to stick to the sweet (or ask for less spinach, like the cashier suggested for next time). Maybe I just got a bad one with tough spinach. I don’t know, but it was hard to bite into and I couldn’t finish eating it. I normally love spinach things, which is why I ordered it. He had a totally different tone in person than his response on here. He said he’d refund my money. I told him not to bother after how he was speaking to me in front of other customers and I just wanted to leave. I thought he was going to be as nice as his response on here and then I’d update my review my ratings. Quite the opposite happened when I went in there. I won’t be back after how he treated me. Too bad, I really liked the sweet crêpe.

This is a great place. I love bakeries and coffee and eat this type of food all over the world. I can tell this place cares because even their drip coffee tasted great, fresh, and high quality. The crepes are amazing, we tried four different kinds. I love how you can see someone making them right there. I think the price is very good and that was one of the reasons we kept coming for more. The ingredients are high quality and we will be back again.

The food was incredible!! The had lots of different crepes and pastries to offer. The drinks were pretty good, all iced drinks come with coffee ice cubes which can ruin a tea but overall it was great. The staff was very kind and it did not take long for the food to come out. However, it was kind of cramped inside so I recommend sitting outside or sitting somewhere else in the town. Overall, definitely a 5 star breakfast spot.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at That French Place and I cannot recommend it highly enough. As someone with allergies to eggs, gluten, and nuts, I was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional service and attention to detail. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and accommodating, guiding me through the menu with patience and ensuring that my meal was safe and delicious. I opted for their gluten-free crepes, which were both beautifully presented and incredibly tasty, crafted with a filling that perfectly balanced flavor and allergen safety. The cozy ambiance and attentive service further enhanced the dining experience, making it clear why That French Place deserves its five-star rating. Whether you have dietary restrictions or not, this restaurant offers a delightful French cuisine experience. I will never stop recommending this restaurant!
