We have rented pontoon boats from Summertime several times. The staff has always been very courteous , friendly, and helpful. This year’s experience was not any different. Initial telephone conversations and reservations are very easy. Staff members are very knowledgeable and can assist you in making the best decisions about rental equipment options. On site, the dock hands and office staff are very pleasant and helpful. This year we had another great experience with Summertime Rentals. We have not been on Lake Charlevoix in about 25 years. This year, my wife and I decided to rent a pontoon boat and reacquaint ourselves with the area. We live in Wisconsin, so we started the rental process in January for a July event. When I called, Aaron, the owner answered. He gave me a complete description of the rental process and the watercraft options. I found Aaron's advice to be EXTREMELY helpful. Our pontoon boat rental experience occurred on 7/11/24. When we arrived, we were greeted by staff members who explained EVERYTHING about the rental contract, the plans for navigating the lake and the mechanics of operating the boat. Our boat was clean and in excellent mechanical condition. We had a great day on the water! We appreciate the great service and assistance provided by everybody we met at Summertime Rentals. The staff was very clear with instructions and expectations, and they helped us get set up. We thoroughly enjoyed the lake also. There was minimal boat traffic and wide open and calm waters. The kids enjoyed tubing on the tube we rented. They extended out time by 30 minutes due to the 30 minutes of instruction, so we got a full 3 hours of boat time. The whole day was perfect!!

We rented a water trampoline with a slide which the kids (ages 7-12) loved. Summertime came and set it up the day before our rental and removed it the day after our rental ended so the kids had a little extra time to play, plus they were very professional setting it up. We absolutely recommend using Summertime for any rental needs you have….see you next summer.!

This place was awesome! Boat was practically brand new, beautiful and easy to navigate. Had chargers for phones and Bluetooth for music. The staff is super friendly and helpful in getting you going. We were very pleased and had a super fun day on a gorgeous lake! Highly recommend.
