I love this family owned and operated outdoor clothing store. They have premium clothes, shoes and accessories. Of course with premium clothes come premium pricing but it's nice to have quality products in a small town.

Love stopping by Round Lake Outfitters when I’m Charlevoix. Great selection and range of sizes. Especially loving the Unsalted clothing line. This is a friendly family run business! I truly feel horrible for the child that was yelled at and understand the family’s concern mentioned in the negative reviews. Thankfully, the individual mentioned is no longer with the store (and hasn’t been for quite some time). She was an employee and not the owner or a member of the family.

Store employee was extremely rude to my baby sister. My sister spilled her drink on the sidewalk outside the store and the employee started yelling and screaming at her. I don’t normally write reviews but this is by far the meanest nastiest person I have ever met. A total stranger screaming at a little child for spilling a little bit of a drink outside. After she got in a screaming match with my mother. Extremely unprofessional. However the man next door was extremely nice to my crying sister. (Charlevoix wear)

Stopped here as an out-of-towner after seeing a nice NorthFace windbreaker/rain jacket in the window. The owner(s) and staff that I spoke with were very nice and the prices were competitive with those online. Would recommend shopping here and I felt like the experience/pricing were sufficient for me to feel justified in supporting a local business. Supposedly the several other negative reviews regarding the same experience over a spilled drink were in relation to a lady who no longer works there nor were those people even patrons of the business. Bizarre occurrence and gross that an entire family would denigrate someone’s livelihood so harshly. I only asked because I couldn’t imagine having the same experience with the staff who greeted me.

Extremely rude and unprofessional. Owner yelled (no exaggeration)at my 10 year old daughter to the point she was in tears over three drops of soda spilled on the sidewalk in front of the store. The irony was my daughter was only testing her bottle to make sure she wouldn’t spill INSIDE the store. Was is it the best testing methodology? No, but then again she’s 10 so things like this happen. My wife would have been more than happy to speak to our daughter but instead the owner of RLO decided to do our parenting for us so my wife had no choice but to defend our daughter, which is when the owner decided to double down and call my wife names. Go next door to Charlevoix Wear, they actually gave my daughter merchandise as an apology after witnessing this whole scene go down on the sidewalk and assured us that not all people from Charlevoix are like the people in Round Lake Outfitters. As for the store, pretty run of the mill outdoor wear that you can get at any sporting goods store. It’s more expensive here however.
