You know hard it is to find that honest car mechanic or computer tech?
If you are big time (live to ride….ride to live) cyclist or just the casual one that needs a brake adjustment or a simple tuneup….Chet is your guy.
My first experience was just this last week when I needed repairs done that I could not do myself. I am new to the area and I had just purchased a used bike off craigslist that had hardly been used but had sat for ten years in someone’s garage.
The frame and wheels were in great condition, but the bike still needed some help; the brakes. And some customization; the handlebars raised, a seat exchange between the post on the new bike and an older one. I had missed my appointment to bring it in for service. I went in the following morning and this guy, all smiles, told me not to sweat it.
He did what I needed and ONLY REPLACED those things on the bike that needed it……..he even adjusted the gears for free…….I did not notice it until riding it fully a couple days afterward.
Further, there were no unsolicited suggested add-ons (like at most service and repair shops that are not in the business of customer service, but profits only).
His concern is only your total satisfaction so that you can have the best riding experience from your bicycle with no hassles.
Chet is your Bike Guy (because he certainly is mine :) ) - he has a great selection of parts, bikes, accessories and a state of the art bicycle workshop to repair or adjust your bike whether it is the Kmart special (remember them?) or a highest of of high end bicycle. Simple, no nonsense and HONEST!
And, he has a beautiful kind dog to boot as his trusted sidekick……..
You will not be disappointed………but you will ride in joy and comfort in knowing that his work is guaranteed and that he is there to HELP you and not fleece you with unnecessary upgrades just to make a buck.
