What an absolute gem of a venue. The ambience is perfect, every staff member was smiling, genuine and knowledgeable. We trusted their recommendations, and each was excellent. We started with sushi that was fresh and delicious, followed up by a change of pace with a burger that set the standard for quality and execution. Honestly, every item we ordered was impressive and if you are near Petoskey and a lover of wine and food, it is a must-visit. Relaxed, warm and welcoming but of a very high standard. Bravo.

Great food my whole family crushed it including kids meals!! Sushi was great. Made reservation which was easy and great! Great staff. Music a little loud and didn’t match atmosphere. Kitchen grease smell seeps into resturant- but old building

Date night last night, we were headed to the Thai place across the street but when we arrived they said they were closing early, turned off their open sign and said we could order to go and eat in our car. We opted to walk across the street and check out Pour Kitchen & Bar instead. We are SO GLAD we did! We were greeted immediately by a super kind host who told us “pick the table you want, but a word of caution, the windows can be drafty.” We opted to sit at a table with soft chairs and warm ambience along the long wall of tables. Our server, Madi, was super helpful especially considering my date was vegetarian and is gluten free. We ordered the Brussels sprouts, and a vegetarian sushi roll as appetizers, then I ordered the poke bowl over rice and she ordered the cauliflower steak. Literally, as she was about to take her first bite of the Brussels sprouts, the host reappeared at our table and said “Wait! Don’t eat that!” He had remembered she was vegetarian and wanted to know the sprouts were cooked in duck fat. That was so sweet of him to remember and to make that extra effort for us. I ate the Brussels sprouts and they were delicious! Our food arrived and the serving sizes were larger than either of us had expected and everything was perfect. Madi was super helpful and attentive. We had some friends in the area and they stopped by as we were finishing up and we all had another round of drinks. The dinner, the atmosphere, the staff all were exactly perfect. Thank you SO MUCH Pour Kitchen & Bar for the wonderful evening. Also, if you get a chance, order that gin and pear drink… it is on point!

This was one of the best dinners I’ve had in a while. The atmosphere was absolutely perfect for a nice intimate date night. We got the mussels to start with, which were SO tasty. We got the tuna roll, venison, and Brussel sprouts for our meal. We felt like we weren’t being rushed, and the server was wonderful. Will definitely be back!!!!

This was by far the best dining experience during our trip to Petoskey! The food was outstanding and all the dishes were thoughtfully put together with balanced flavors and texture. The poke nachos were so good that after ordering a happy hour 1/2 order we had to get a full order to satisfy our gluttonous desire for this dish. The duck breast was perfectly cooked at med-rare, per chefs recommendation and the Wisconsin Cheddar Grits that accompanied it could not have been more fitting. They have a recommended wine pairing for each dish which we did not partake in. We can't wait for our next trip to Petoskey so we can dine here again and again and again.
