WATERCOLOR FOR ALL LEVELS- Daffodils Pop! MAY 29, 2024 WEDNESDAY Time: 10am - Noon REGISTER BY: May 24 CLASS FEE: $45, or 40.50 for members ​ FORMAT: IN-PERSON This watercolor class for all levels that will feature gorgeous white daffodils popping in the spring in a few clay pots and whatnot. This class is for all levels. No drawing experience required. We will focus on values, composition, and negative painting as we bring this charming vignette to life. Whether you’ve never painted or are seasoned, we welcome all and go step-by-step! ​ SUPPLY LIST: Participants will need to bring their own supplies or purchase a kit that contains all you need from Megan at [email protected] ​ 9 x 12 cold press watercolor paper, preferably 140# 2 b pencil Good eraser (not on your pencil) Watercolor paint brushes. Be sure there are some rounds ones in the mix that come to a point when wet. Like 2, 4, 6 size. Also, if you like using a flat brush that’s about ½ to 1 inch wide, we can use that in background as option. Paints: A rich blue, like cobalt. A turquoise. Cerulean Blue. Quinacridone Gold. Sap Green. Green-Gold. Orange. Burnt Sienna or Indian Red. Brown. Indigo is nice, too. A board (can use cardboard that’s a little bigger than your paper) and painters tape (wall painters tape to tape your paper to your board AFTER you do your drawing in class). Extras: white crayon or white candle is optional. Table salt. Toothpick. A few Q-tips.
