We found the Bridge Street Taproom via The Hops Passport book. Very happy that we did. We had lunch, it was very filling and our drafts were nice and cold. Beautiful surroundings, street noise was not bad. Enjoyed the Lake as well as people watching.

Has the potential to be a great place. Views are amazing. The food was okay. Mac and cheese sandwich tasted amazing but came out hardly warm. Ordered a tequila sunrise, I am not sure there was any tequila, and the OJ tasted off. The waiter was kind and attentive as he could be. Our waiter seemed to be taking care of quite a few tables for one person.

Day 1) "Burnt ends pork belly" are more like boiled fat chunks, nothing burnt about them. Need a little work on that. Mac & cheese and the pizza were pretty good. Great tap selection of many Michigan beers. Our server was on top of things pretty well, and he was very courteous. The atmosphere is very tight, loud, and confined. If it had been warmer, sitting outside would have been much better. Day 2) Boy this place has potential but seems to fall flat. With the tasty pizza, decided on giving it another try. Carry out order, wrong toppings on the pizza, and a cheese pizza instead of cheesy garlic bread. With a little better leadership, this place could be top notch.

This Thanksgiving, my wife and I had the pleasure of experiencing unparalleled hospitality at the Bridge Street Tap Room in Charlevoix, Michigan. Our evening there was nothing short of extraordinary, and it’s an experience we’ll remember forever. As we strolled through Charlevoix, a town already brimming with warmth and spiritual charm, my wife’s diabetic alarm began to sound. It was late, and we knew finding an open kitchen would be a challenge. Despite the late hour and the tap room’s kitchen being officially closed, the staff, led by the gracious barista Leticia, went above and beyond to accommodate us. Leticia’s kindness and understanding turned what could have been a stressful situation into a heartwarming moment. She arranged for a carry-out turkey dinner for two, embodying the spirit of Thanksgiving in every way. The meal was a masterpiece—unbelievably delicious and generously portioned. It included tender turkey, flavorful green bean casserole, creamy mashed potatoes, a fresh salad, and a decadent peanut butter chocolate chip pie to top it all off. Each bite was infused with the holiday’s magic and warmth. We paired the meal with a bottle of Drumheller Merlot, which complemented the feast perfectly. Taking the bottle to go allowed us to savor the evening even longer, reflecting on the generosity we had just experienced. This act of kindness wasn’t just about the food; it was a reflection of the caring, spiritual nature that seems to define Charlevoix. In a town where the nearest open eatery was nearly an hour away, the Bridge Street Tap Room provided not just sustenance but also a sense of community and compassion. My wife and I are deeply grateful to Leticia and the entire team at the Bridge Street Tap Room for turning what could have been a challenging Thanksgiving into a memorable celebration. Their thoughtfulness and incredible food were a testament to the heart and soul of Charlevoix. If you ever find yourself in this lovely town, do yourself a favor and visit the Bridge Street Tap Room—it’s a place where kindness and culinary excellence meet in the most beautiful way.

Bridge Street Taproom in Charlevoix exceeded all my expectations! We stopped in for dinner and tried their pizza, and it was fantastic. The crust was perfectly crispy, the toppings were fresh, and everything was balanced to create a delicious, flavorful meal. It’s clear they put a lot of care into their food, and the quality really shows. We visited at night, and the cozy, welcoming atmosphere made it a great place to relax after a busy day. The location is perfect — right in the heart of downtown Charlevoix, so it’s easy to stop by whether you're out shopping, taking a walk along the harbor, or just exploring the area. I can only imagine how nice it would be during the day with a view of the bustling street outside. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in town, and I recommend this spot to anyone looking for great food, friendly service, and a convenient downtown location. Bridge Street Taproom is a must-visit in Charlevoix!
